Who we are
Simon has spent over two decades working with the hospitality industry. From training as a chef in the early part of his career,to becoming a drinks specialist, training in excess of 1,000 bartenders, across the Channel Islands, UK and Europe, from bars to pubs, clubs to restaurants, hotels to private super yachts.
Simon then headed up the industry in Jersey, working as the CEO of the Jersey Hospitality Association, notably through the challenges of COVID and also as Head of Hospitality and Tourism at Jersey Business. Both gave him a strong insight into the operation of a multitude of businesses and opportunities to develop, as well as a good grasp of policy and strategy, in particular around issues such as work permits.
Simon also sits on the board of Caring Cooks, Flourish, and is Vice Chair of IoD Jersey.
